What would happen if you ate in harmony with the seasons?

In these programs, we will explore life outside of the box (...and the bag, and the can, and the….). We will create deep and sustaining practices - free of gimmicks, fads, deprivation or shame. We will dive into the different seasons: exploring the tastes, smells, emotions and daily practices that support vibrant wellness. We will cultivate the ability to tune-in and figure out what your body truly needs. We will take the time to nourish ourselves, as we get to know mother nature and understand why it is so important to take a seasonal approach to health. 

How it works:

Once you sign up, you will receive an order confirmation email that invites you to register for this online course. Throughout the program, you will have private access to:

  • A "prep" week to give you time to mentally, physically and emotionally prepare for this journey

  • Messages in your inbox that contain videos, audios and handouts that will guide you through the program

  • Community support via an online forum  (moderated by Dr. Caitlin and Jessica)

Winter: 

ResTORE Your Rhythm (Our winter cleanse, designed to build your chi/life force)

Reset your rhythm:  In Traditional Chinese Medicine, winter is the time to build your Chi (the life force that keeps you vital and healthy).  We see this reflected in nature – shorter days and longer nights to encourage rest and introspection.  Plants and animals hibernating , building the energy they will need for spring growth.  At The Vitality Project, we look to the wisdom of nature and ancient traditions.  We take this knowledge and apply it to our modern lives – how can we slow down after a sometimes hectic holiday season and build up our reserves?

We are offering a 10 day program ending with a 2 day, self-paced retreat that can be done easily and affordably in the comfort of your home.  The focus is on resetting the adrenals and nervous system using gentle diet and lifestyle practices.

This is what we will be exploring:

  • The importance of building Chi during the Winter season
  • Why sleep and hydration are especially important during these colder and drier months
  • What types of food best support your system during this time of year
  • Using a positive mindset to create affirmations for the New Year
  • Fear vs. Flow:  understanding adrenal function from a naturopathic and TCM point of view

Love Your Liver (Our spring cleanse focusing on nourishing the liver)

  • A better understanding of how to live in harmony with the energy of the spring season (this is the best time of the year to spark real change)
  • Simple daily habits that support lifelong health (that allow you to feel better and have more fun)

Trust Your Gut (Our summer cleanse, focusing on digestion)

Trust your gut:  In Traditional Chinese Medicine, summer is the time to ride the wave of abundance. It’s hot out there! And it’s time to take advantage of the longer, hotter days byutilizing this abundant energy to stoke our digestive fire. Plants and animals thrive if given plenty of water and nutrition during this time of year; and, their growing season culminates with a harvest at the end of the season. This is when the energy building practice of winter hibernation and the hard work you did during the spring pay off… you reap what you sow!

We are offering a FREE two day, self-paced retreat that can be done easily and affordably in the comfort of your home.  The focus is on soothing the digestive system and tapping into the heart center to bring more joy and abundance into your life.
